It’s also a great jump-off point to explore neighboring Tamarindo (25 minutes away) and other area beaches such as Playa Flamingo, Playa Conchal, Playa Danta, and Playa Avellanas (to name a few of our favorites!). While the home is just a short 5–10 minute drive to the beach, local restaurants, and nearby markets, we do recommend having a vehicle during your stay. The area is peaceful and a bit tucked away, which is part of its charm, but it also means public transportation isn’t readily available. Having a car will give you the flexibility to explore the surrounding beaches, towns, and hidden gems at your own pace, making the most of everything the region has to offer.
